Full Power Happy Hour are Alex, Grace, Caroline, Joe & Finn, an alt country folk band from Meanjin/Brisbane. Formed in late 2018, Full Power Happy Hour combines five veterans of Brisbane music with energetic performances and an important message. Their music aims to shake the audience from their apathy through impassioned lyrics, joyful instrumentation and heart-stirring harmonies.

Their debut EP features lead single ‘Complicit’ released March 2019, and two jangle-folk tracks ‘Fun’ and ‘Endless Summer’. The songs were written in the height of Brisbane’s humidity, spilling with the frustration of being both too energy sapped from the heat and too fearful to make change. Whether it’s getting up the courage to get out on the streets to protest, or to break old habits in love, friendships and other life choices.
